connect.

connect is an interactive mirror installation as a support to make living together more peaceful. It has been realised during the third semester in a group of three. The purpose is to help users to fulfil obligations by reflecting themselves. By using different kinds of motivational approaches in a playful way users become more aware of their habits and duties. Following the conceptional approach of having an organised notice board of all members of a shared community to share obligations, memories and good moments the installation could find use anywhere.

Researching different kinds of personality models, ways of motivation or challenging factors helped to characterise and prove the functionality of the product even more. Shown at the see conference in 2015, we had the chance to discuss and exchange opinions with several designers and interested people to get even more potential ideas.
